📢 Advocacy

Our History

The ISO 26000 Stakeholder Global Network was formed by individuals and organizations who participated in the development of the ISO 26000 standard and recognized the need for continued collaboration beyond its publication in 2010.

What started as informal gatherings of stakeholders has evolved into a structured global network with chapters around the world, each working to promote social responsibility in their local context while maintaining connection to the broader international community.

Core Values

  • Inclusivity: We welcome all types of organizations and individuals committed to social responsibility.
  • Transparency: We operate with openness and accountability to our stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: We believe in the power of collective action and shared knowledge.
  • Respect: We honor diverse perspectives and cultural contexts.
  • Impact: We focus on practical implementation and real-world outcomes.

Chapters & Committees

Our network operates through regional chapters and thematic committees, allowing for both local relevance and global coordination. Each chapter adapts the ISO 26000 framework to their specific regional and cultural context.

Note: Detailed information about our chapters and committees will be available soon as we build out our member directory and organizational structure.
